Asimo Robot adalh output from honda japan technology, according to sources Asimo is an acronym for "Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility." Asimo regarded as the world's most advanced humanoid robot with a height of 130 cm and weight 54 kg. The robot developed by Honda Motor Co.., Ltd.
Asimo was born on October 31, 2000 from the R & D program robotic Honda which was founded in 1986. Led by Mr. Masato Hirose, Senior Chief Engineer of the Wako Research Institute, Honda R & D Co.., Ltd.., Chestnut robot development team created a robot that can be a friend to man. This dream led to the concept of "uniting the various mechanical functions with advanced technologies to improve the quality of human life," the underlying road map for Honda in the development of robots. Fund created to make robots better than a wasteful luxury cars made fuel.
In the past 14 years, Honda has developed seven experimental robot and three robot prototypes. After many efforts, this project to fruition in 2000 with the official launch as a representative of Asimo humanoid robot technology.
ASIMO is now the second generation which is a refinement of the first generation ASIMO robot that was introduced in 2000. Asimo mobility technologies are now experiencing rapid development than previous generations, with various capabilities such as moving in a circle pattern and ran up to the speed of 6 km / hour.
